Notch Space 2.0.2 puts your calendar in the notch, adds music to your lock screen, gives Clipboard, To-Do and Expenses full windows of their own, and fills the Dock with new widgets.

It builds on Notch Space 2.0, which introduced the Notch Space Dock, Window Layout and Clipboard Magic.

Download the free trial from the download page. Already installed? Go to Settings → About → Check for Updates. Lifetime license holders get it included.

Calendar in the notch (beta)

Your Apple Calendar, right where you look all day:

  • Month view, today's agenda and what's up next at a glance
  • Quick add: type "Lunch with Sam tomorrow 1pm" and it's on your calendar
  • Meeting alerts: the notch drops down a few minutes before an event, with one-click Join for Zoom, Meet and Teams
  • A full planner in Settings with Month, Week and Day views
  • Subscriptions and spending from the Expense Tracker show up on the days they happen

It works with iCloud, Google, Exchange and any account you've added to the Calendar app. Turn it on in Settings → Calendar.

Music on your lock screen

While a song is playing or paused, a music card with cover art and playback controls now sits on your lock screen. Want more? Fill the whole lock screen with a blurred version of the album art.

Turn it on in Settings → Music → Show on Lock Screen. More on music in the notch: Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube controls.

Clipboard, To-Do and Expenses get their own windows

The notch is great for a quick look. For the bigger picture, each of these now opens in a full window:

  • Clipboard: a searchable grid of everything you've copied, with filters by type and category, quick slots, and side-by-side previews. New to it? Start with how to see clipboard history on Mac.
  • To-Do & Reminders: Today, Upcoming, Overdue and your lists, plus natural-language quick add and repeating reminders.
  • Expenses: month, quarter and year totals, a spending chart, transactions by day, and all your subscriptions in one place.

Open them from the Dock widgets, the ↗ button in the notch, or Open Window in Settings. They can go full screen too.

A redesigned Expense Tracker in the notch

The Expenses panel in the notch has been redesigned from the ground up, so logging a purchase or checking your month is quicker than before.

New Dock widgets

The Notch Space Dock gets a bunch of new tiles:

  • Quit Apps: quit every open app at once, or only the ones you tick. Your selection is remembered for next time.
  • Battery: the notch's liquid charging look, right on your Dock
  • Clipboard, Screenshots, Downloads, Expenses, Weather, Quick Note, Day Progress and Year Progress

Adding them is easier too: a new widget gallery shows live previews of every widget before you drop it on the Dock.

Fixes and improvements

  • The Dock now always appears on the desktop you're using, not on Desktop 1
  • Improvements to Window Layouts, System Stats, Weather and download progress
  • Polished notch appearance, alerts and Settings
  • General stability and performance fixes
